John Gerrard holds a BFA in Sculpture, MFA in Art and Technology and a MSc in Computer Science. He was artist in residence at Ars Electronica Futurelab and exhibited at the Ars Electronica Festival 2003 - 2005. He has shown with the Marian Goodman Gallery and Knoedler Gallery, New York and is currently exhibiting at the Hirschorn Museum, Washington. In 2009 he was part of the Biennale di Venezia with "Animated Scene". He is represented by Tomas Dane Gallery, London and Simon Preston Gallery, New York.
